Is an MBA worth doing? Is it relevant to the current times? The business world is constantly evolving, metrics change day after day, and information gets updated. Although it is beneficial to know the basics before we get into the business, pursuing a two-degree just for that is certainly not the best use of our time.
One thing that I commonly hear about MBAs is that the contents are outdated and most universities fail to integrate real-life cases into the syllabus. When students graduated, they would feel like what they had learned and what’s happening outside are two completely different things. Then their real learning gets started.
An MBA may be useful to get you into a high-paying job, but for doing business, you have sources to know what goes into a business and learn the basic stuff. This book is one of the sources. Most people think that this book just bashes the MBA, but the truth is, the book consists of business content in a condensed form.
Descriptions are straight to the point and are not too dry to read. It is accessible and comprehensive. I highly recommend this book if you want to do business, want to join an MBA, or are currently pursuing an MBA. We can learn a lot from the book.
