We are living in an information-dense world. We consume so much information every day that we lose track of what we read, what we heard, and what we saw. Rather than blaming ourselves for keeping forgetting, we can build a system where we can store our thoughts, insights we read, the information we want for a project, and so on. That’s where the second brain comes into the picture.
The second brain is nothing but a system where we take notes of whatever we read or we think, organize data for efficient retrieval, remove irrelevant information, and express our work whenever we want. The second brain can be built on the cloud using certain apps or on your personal computer.
As a person who consumes so much information in a day, having a second brain not only helps me to remember what I read but also to find resources while I am writing something. I think everyone should have a second brain because our work world demands that. Who wouldn’t like to give good presentations?
Although I didn’t like the first 50 pages of the book, things heated up after that. I assure you that for productivity, this is your book. I recommend this to everyone irrespective of what you do in your life.
