I must admit that I read this book without taking in its hype and popularity. As the author himself mentioned in the beginning that you are not going to learn anything new, I don’t have to say it has anything new to offer.
It is written for quick consumption and gives an instant jolt of motivation (much like Ryan Holiday’s books). If you see the book from that point, it could serve you well. Not that it would push you to do wonders, but at least you would finish what is demanded from you on that day.
I have to say that I am not a fan of books like these. I like books that have depth and make me think and evaluate concepts. Since this book is written in the age of Instagram, where people like to be spoon-fed and don’t dive deep into the concepts, it sells and spreads like a wildfire.
I am not sure whether I have to recommend this book or not. If you are a beginner and want some instant push of motivation, go for it. If you already read a lot of books, don’t go near it.
